Tiffany Meyers is a scientist specializing in extraterrestrial non-organic lifeforms. The player finds only her PDA on Adamante Limes. Her body is not on the map. The log's last sentence breaks off, so she is presumed dead.

After yesterday's shift, Costello's two huge red bodyguards follow him everywhere, and she no longer feels his interest in her work. A shard chipped from red ore is sealed in a sphere inside a container. It is not locked, so the team should be able to open it, but they cannot. During a break Abbot comes through, and they form a Sigil around the container. She wonders if it is a forcefield, and feels like a thief who got caught.

Abbot then teleports up to the rocks, tears two light-beings free, and cages them in spheres: the first aggressive act since she has been there. There are no days there, but she writes that today is worse. Abbot and Costello cage light-beings in masses. They have not hurt the team. Yet. The entry breaks off mid-word as a huge fat thing with two weapon-hands comes through, coming her way, while the red mineral they found starts turning blue.

Trivia

• One of Tiffany's favorite films is Arrival (2016). The two heptapods in it are named Abbott and Costello. She seems to live the mission the way Louise Banks (Amy Adams) does: as a scientist in a new dimension, not as someone who already knows the site is Hell.
• The log's Abbot and Costello are two Doom (2016) monsters. Abbot teleports, so both read as Summoners. They have not harmed the research and construction team. Yet. The log spells Abbot with one t; the film spells the heptapod Abbott.
• Costello's two huge red bodyguards are likely Barons of Hell.
• The creature that cuts the entry off, huge and fat, with two weapon-hands, is likely a Mancubus.
• The shard chipped from the red ore, sealed in a sphere inside a container, is a chip from an Argent-saturated vein in the Hell rock. A mortal who simply touches it would likely die. The Slayer would not. Tiffany would not have thought this method did anything fundamental. Without meaning to, she laid down a basic UAC safety standard: the shard goes inside a glass sphere, inside a special container. That containment is the seed of the Argent Caches.
