A soft invite for SnapMap creators who build place-driven maps — and want a home page without building a whole site.
Inspired by the classic martianbuddy.com easter egg from Doom 3, TheMercurian secured a few fan domains for places the Mercury Rising campaign actually visits. This is a fan tribute — not affiliated with Bethesda, id Software, or ZeniMax — and not a formal brand club. Just creators lifting each other up.
Dedicated Buddy sites are still early. For now these domains point at themercurian.com; fuller lore & map hubs come later. If the idea clicks with you, there are two easy ways in.
Get featured
Building high-quality, lore-driven SnapMaps set on Mercury, Venus, or Hell / Argent D'Nur — but you do not want the hassle of your own website? If the maps are polished and fun to play, they may earn a homepage-style showcase on the matching Buddy domain: documentation, screenshots, and links back to SnapMap (Bethesda.net / map codes). No map-file hosting — play stays in the official channels.
Become a DOOM Buddy
Working on a campaign set elsewhere in the solar system — Jupiter, Saturn, Earth, Luna, and beyond? Consider grabbing a matching domain (for example jovianbuddy.com, saturnianbuddy.com, or terranbuddy.com). If quality and vision align, we can cross-link as fellow DOOM Buddies — an interconnected, fan-made DOOM universe network. Mutual props. No official anything.
